Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Baranowski
As a dedicated allergist, I am proud to call Michigan my home state. I earned my medical degree from Wayne State Medical School and honed my skills during a residency in internal medicine at Corewell Health-William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. My passion for allergy led me to complete a fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, specializing in adult and pediatric allergy and immunology, a journey that culminated in 1992.
My personal connection to allergy care began when several family members grappled with food allergies, celiac disease, and nasal allergies. This poignant experience ignited my commitment to understanding and alleviating the challenges faced by those with allergic conditions. With a compassionate approach, I strive to help patients to manage their allergies, offering comprehensive care based on a blend of expertise and genuine understanding.
Dr. Thomas
Dr. Sonia L. Thomas received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatrics residency at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine and her Allergy and Immunology fellowship at University of South Florida/Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, where she served as chief fellow during her second year. She is board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology and the American Board of Pediatrics and sees both adult and pediatric patients.
